These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all sales concluded between SAS EIO and any non-commercial individual acting for their personal needs (hereinafter «the Customer») via the website.
All orders imply full and complete acceptance of these T&Cs, which take precedence over any other document.
These General Terms and Conditions may be updated on a regular basis.

The products offered for sale are glasses made in France from recycled materials.
Each product comes with:
The product's features are detailed on its corresponding product page. Features such as dimensions, colours, and other product-specific data are mentioned so that the Customer can make an informed choice with the maximum amount of information. As the list of features is not exhaustive, EIO invites each Customer to contact its customer service by email at: hello@eio.eco, for any additional information requests.
The photographs and visuals on the website are not contractual and cannot bind the seller to liability.
The availability of each product is shown on its corresponding product page. The stock of products available for sale is updated in real time. However, a delay in stock updates may occur, particularly for the following reasons: page refresh, inventory, technical issue. EIO undertakes to inform the Customer of the unavailability of a product as soon as possible.
Prices are quoted in euros, all taxes included (TTC), including VAT applicable on the day of the order. The prices displayed at the time of the order are the prices applied to the Customer, except for unintentional display or typing errors on the part of EIO. In case of an «obvious» error, the Customer will be asked to re-enter their order at the correct price.
Any delivery charges will be specified before order confirmation.
SAS EIO reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products will be charged at the rate in effect at the time of the order.
An invoice will be issued and sent to you upon receipt of your order.
The Customer selects the desired Products by adding them to their Basket.
The Customer checks their selection and validates their basket.
The Client completes the registration and/or identification form, providing the mandatory information.
The Client checks the contents of their order, the price of each item, and the delivery and billing addresses.
The Customer chooses the delivery method.
The Customer chooses the payment method.
Note: At this stage, the Customer has the option to amend or cancel their order.
The Customer validates their order by ticking the box to accept the General Terms and Conditions and by clicking the order validation button.
The Customer validates the secure payment of the order on the payment platform.
An order confirmation email is sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
An indicative email containing the order number and parcel tracking number is sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
Once the order has been confirmed, the Customer will no longer be able to modify or cancel it.
The Client warrants that they are over 18 years of age and have the necessary rights to mobilise the funds used for payment.

Any incident, particularly a delivery incident, related to erroneous information will be the Client's responsibility.
Any fees generated by the payment method or in connection with the order will be borne by the Customer.
At any time, the Client has the option to log in to their account, modify the information entered, and/or delete their account.
The seller reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a prior dispute, non-payment, or insufficient stock.
The Seller also reserves the right to cancel all or part of an order in the event of the failure of one of its suppliers, as well as in the event of force majeure. EIO will notify the customer as soon as it becomes aware of such an event and will refund any sums that have already been paid in relation to the cancelled order or part of an order, within 14 days.
The price is payable immediately upon ordering.
The customer's order will only be taken into account by EIO company upon full payment. Should the price not be paid in full, or should payment be irregular or non-existent, EIO company reserves the right to block the order and, if necessary, delivery.

Transactions are secured via an SSL encryption system.
Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer when ordering or to a Drop-off Point.
Although these deadlines are given as an indication, EIO undertakes to do everything possible to ensure that they are met.
In case of a delay of over 30 days, the Customer may cancel the order and obtain a refund.
It is specified that orders placed on the Company's EIO website on a Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the next working day. The same applies to orders placed on a public holiday.

The Customer must check the condition of the package upon receipt and report any anomalies within 48 hours.
If delivery has been requested at a pickup point, it is the Customer's responsibility to collect their parcel from the pickup point within nine (9) days and to make any reservations and claims that appear justified.
Returned parcel by the delivery service provider under the mention «does not live at the indicated address» (NPAI): no credit notes or refunds will be issued by EIO Company.
Returned parcel marked «unclaimed»: this refers to parcels that have not been collected by the Customer from the parcel collection point within the specified time limit. After receipt and acceptance of the parcel by our services, a credit note (total order value, minus postage and return costs) will be issued within 48 hours of the parcel being received by the EIO Company. The customer can then re-order.
As part of its commitment to more responsible consumption, EIO takes care to limit the environmental impact of its shipments.
Our products are shipped in recycled or recyclable packaging, selected to reduce waste while ensuring optimal protection of the glasses during transit.
We are also optimising order preparation and consolidation to limit unnecessary transport and reduce the carbon footprint associated with delivery. We are promoting pick-up point delivery solutions by making them free of charge.
By choosing EIO, the Customer supports a brand committed to local manufacturing, with eyewear made in France from recycled materials, while also favouring more environmentally friendly logistics.
However, the commercial warranty does not cover damage related to misuse (e.g. drops, excessive twisting, prolonged exposure to high heat, etc.).

By purchasing or using EIO’s services, the customer accepts this policy and acknowledges the warranty and service terms set out above.
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt from the date of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason and without incurring any penalty.

These warranties apply only in the event of normal use of the glasses. In the event of improper use (impact/fall, twisting, excessive exposure to heat, prolonged exposure to water, etc.), no warranty claim may be made.

Consumer rights guarantee and/or latent defect guarantee :
When acting as a statutory guarantee of conformity, the consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to take action; they can choose between the repair or replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions provided for in Article L 217-12 of the Consumer Code; they are exempt from proving the existence of the non-conformity of the goods during the twenty-four months following the delivery of the goods. ;
The legal guarantee of conformity applies regardless of any commercial guarantee provided.;

EIO accepts no liability in the event of fraudulent use of the website by a third party resulting in any alteration to the information contained therein.
Any use of the website is at the customer's own risk.
Furthermore, if you choose to access the Site from territories other than France, you do so on your own initiative and at your sole risk. It is your responsibility to comply with local legislation insofar as that legislation is applicable.
The EIO Company cannot be held liable in any way in the event of computer hacking of the website, hacking of personal data and its leakage, or website inaccessibility resulting from hacking, which may occur despite all the measures implemented to ensure the security of the site and the data collected.

EIO Company undertakes not to disclose information provided to third parties.
Furthermore, we shall not be held liable or in default for any delay or failure to perform arising from a force majeure event. Within the context of these terms, force majeure events shall include, in addition to those events recognised by the case law of the French Court of Cassation, all natural disasters, acts of war, breaches of public order, epidemics, fires, floods and other calamities, all governmental acts, all strikes and lock-outs, including those of our own personnel or that of our usual carriers, any supply breakdown or resulting delay in supply from our own suppliers, as well as all external electrical and technical problems beyond the parties' control that prevent communications.
Furthermore, in the online sales process, we cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the use of the internet, such as, in particular: loss of data, unauthorised access, viruses, service interruptions, or unsolicited messages from third parties.
If any provision of these terms were to be declared unlawful, void or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, and it were not possible to substitute it automatically with a reasonable provision having a similar effect (a step which the parties hereby authorise any court hearing the relevant dispute to take, to the extent permitted by applicable law), that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
